During the early morning hours of June 26, 2007, Perry Griffin, an employee of Panhandle Converters and Scrap, was going to go out of town to purchase items for the business. Perry was preparing to leave the business with a large amount of cash, as he had done before numerous times. Dothan Police Charge Several in Local Robberies
On March 14th the Dothan Police Department executed seven search warrants throughout the City in connection with the recent robberies that occurred March 9th through March 12th. Five Search Warrants were executed in the early morning hours. These search warrants were served at the following locations:
- 700 block of Chinook St.
- 800 block of Whiddon St.
- 100 block of Kohler Ct.
- 100 block of Naomi Dr.
- 600 block of Wheat Street

Two charged with 81 counts of animal cruelty
At approximately 4:00 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, March 24, 2017 Dothan patrol officers responded along with Dothan animal services officers to the 2900 block of Peachtree Drive. The call was in reference to an animal cruelty complaint. Officers discovered an illegal animal breeding site and contacted Investigators.
