Murder of Perry Griffin Solved After 13 Years

During the early morning hours of June 26, 2007, Perry Griffin, an employee of Panhandle Converters and Scrap, was going to go out of town to purchase items for the business.  Perry was preparing to leave the business with a large amount of cash, as he had done before numerous times.  As Perry was preparing to leave the parking lot of the business, two suspects armed with weapons confronted him. Dothan Police Charge Several in Local Robberies

On March 14th the Dothan Police Department executed seven search warrants throughout the City in connection with the recent robberies that occurred March 9th through March 12th. Five Search Warrants were executed in the early morning hours. These search warrants were served at the following locations:

  • 700 block of Chinook St.
  • 800 block of Whiddon St.
  • 100 block of Kohler Ct.
  • 100 block of Naomi Dr.
  • 600 block of Wheat Street
