Couple Being Sought for Murder After Body Found on Coe Dairy Road in Dothan

(DOTHAN, Ala.)- A search is underway for a man and woman accused of killing a man around May 8, 2024.  Courtney Ingram (33) and Richard Bishop Jr. (31) are accused of killing Patrick Parrish (54) of Dothan.  Officers and Investigators discovered Parrish’s body after a welfare check was conducted at his residence in the 1300 block of Coe Dairy Road.  The cause of death is being investigated by the Alabama Department of Forensic Science in Montgomery.  If anyone has information on the location of Ingram and Bishop, they are asked to contact the Dothan Police Department or their local law enforcement agency.  The couple should be considered armed and dangerous.

On May 8, 2024, Dothan Police officers were called to the 1300 block of Coe Dairy Road to conduct a welfare check on the resident, Patrick Parrish, when an unusual amount of time passed while having no contact with Parrish.  When officers arrived on scene, they noticed a foul odor coming from the area of the residence.  Officers tried to make contact by knocking on the door with no contact.  A short time later officers located Parrish’s body under the residence, and he was pronounced deceased.  The positioning of the body was indicative of foul play, and investigators were called to the scene.

While processing the crime scene, investigators noticed the victim’s pick-up truck was missing from the residence.  Investigators discovered that Parrish had last been seen with Courtney Ingram and Richard Bishop before his death and were seen leaving in the victim’s vehicle.  The vehicle was recovered days later in Eufaula, Alabama.  While the cause of death is being investigated, the manner of death was determined to be homicide.  Investigators have received enough evidence to charge Ingram and Bishop with one count of Murder each.  This investigation is still ongoing.  Anyone with any information on the case is encouraged to call the Dothan Police Department.

Our thoughts are with the family of Patrick Parrish as they begin to cope with this family loss.
