On Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at approximately 6:45 PM, Dothan Police Officers responded to the 900 block of East Selma Street for gunshots fired into an occupied residence. The residence was occupied by several individuals, one of which was a juvenile that was struck in the hand. The extent of the juvenile’s injury is not known at this time; further medical evaluation will be conducted to determine if the juvenile will lose a finger or not.
The Dothan Police Department is seeking help from the local community in identifying the person or persons responsible for this incident. The suspect vehicle has been described as a dark color Dodge Charger with blue camouflage on the sides.
