Unlawful B&E Arrest

On 05/16/2017 Investigators arrested and charged 18 year old Gerald Le Michael Leonard Jr., of Creekwood Drive, with Unlawful Breaking and Entering of a Vehicle. This occurred in the 1100 block of the Ross Clark Circle. Bond has been set at $15,000.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card Arrest

On 05/16/2017 Investigators arrested and charged 31 year old Harpreet Kaur, of N. Park Avenue, with six counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. Bond has been set at $90,000.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Impersonating a Peace Officer Arrest

On 05/15/2017 Investigators arrested and charged 32 year old Pierre Jay Jabory Parrish, of N. Range Street, with Impersonating a Peace Officer and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance. This stems from an incident where Parrish acted in an official law enforcement capacity in the 300 block of E. Newton Street last night.  Bond has been set at $40,000.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

B&E Arrest

On 05/15/2017 Investigators arrested and charged 22 year old Bobbi Rashonda Slater, of Kohler Court, with Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Vehicle. This was in connection with a B&E that occurred in the 1700 block of E. Cottonwood Road. Bond has been set at $7,500.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Assault Arrest

On 05/12/2017 Investigators arrested and charged 40 year old Oushaun Lee, of Meharis Circle, with Assault 2nd degree. This stems from an altercation that occurred on Alexander Drive. Bond has been set at $30,000.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Trafficking in Stolen Identity Arrests

On 05/10/2017 Investigators apprehended  two individuals at a local business purchasing gift cards using stolen identities. The investigation is in its early stages and investigators are working to identify all of the victims.

20 year old Kai James Patrick, of 172nd Street Miami Florida, has been charged with Trafficking in Stolen Identities.

19 year old Paul Anthony Clarke Jr, of 191st Street Miami Florida, has been charged with Trafficking in Stolen Identities.

Bond will be set on both individuals at a later date.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

 

 

Runaway Juvenile

 

Tia Choneay Vance

Age:  16     Height:  6’0″   Weight: 125

Tia was last seen on 04/28/2017 in the 400 block of South Saint Andrews Street in Dothan, AL. Tia was seen entering a silver Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by a black male. The male was seen with a white and black Pug breed dog.

Theft Arrest

On 05/04/2017 Investigators arrested and charged 48 year old Jeffery Allen Jones, of Eddins Road, with two counts of Theft of Property 2nd degree and two counts of Theft of Property 3rd degree.  These thefts range from December 2016 until April 2017. Jones is charged with stealing numerous items from construction sites in Dothan. Houston County Sheriff’s Office assisted in this investigation. Investigators are working to recover the stolen property and return it to the owners. Bond has been set at $7,000.

The investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Narcotics Arrest

On 05/04/2017 Investigators arrested and charged 35 year old Bryan Otis Langford, of Ross Clark Circle, with Sale, Furnishing, etc., of a Controlled Substance by Persons over age 18 to Persons under age 18. The investigation revealed that Langford provided an illegal narcotic to a female juvenile. Due to the sensitive nature of this case no other details can be released. The Alabama Department of Human Resources assisted in this investigation. The investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible.
