On April 13, 2023, Dothan Police Traffic investigators were dispatched to a traffic accident at the intersection of Hartford Highway and Honeysuckle Road. A motorcycle and a passenger car were involved in the accident. Upon arrival of officers, it was determined that the driver of the motorcycle, Kyle Hunt of Naples, Florida, had sustained serious critical injuries. Mr. Hunt was transported to S.E. Health where he passed away from his injuries. The occupant of the other vehicle was not injured in the accident. The accident is currently under investigation by the Dothan Police Traffic Division.
