Need Help Identifying!

The Dothan Police Department is seeking the help of our local and surrounding communities in identifying the man shown in the pictures below. He is wanted for questioning in regards to a forgery case. Police are asking anyone with information regarding the identity to call the Dothan Police Department 334-615-3000.

Breaking and Entering Arrest

On 07/02/2017 Investigators arrested and charged 51 year old Glenn Gilbert Gunn, of 2800 Ross Clark Circle, with two counts of Unlawful Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle. Bond has been set at $30,000.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Robbery Arrest

On 07/01/2017 Investigators arrested and charged 22 year old Jessie Terrell Starks, of Hwy 130 Louisville Al, with Robbery 1st degree and Unlawful Breaking and Entering of a Vehicle. This occurred in the 2000 block of Reeves Street.

Bond will be set at a later date. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Impersonating Police Arrest

On 06/30/2017 Investigators arrested and charged 27 year old Jamonte Jamarvlous Lightfoot, of Chandler Street, with Impersonating a Peace Officer. This stems from an incident where Lightfoot portrayed himself in a law enforcement capacity. Bond has been set at $15,000.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Arson Arrest

Earlier this morning Dothan Fire Department and Dothan Police Department responded to a commercial building fire at 3056 Ross Clark Circle. The fire was extinguished by the fire department.

PD Investigators and the Dothan Fire Marshall’s Office began investigating the fire. It was determined that the business had been burglarized prior to the fire being set.

Investigators have arrested and charged 27 year old Sergio Williams, of Friar Street Midland City, with Burglary 3rd degree and Arson 2nd degree. The investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Vehicle versus Pedestrian Press Release

On July 2nd at approximately 8 pm, Dothan Police responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian accident in the 2900 block of Ross Clark Circle.  During the investigation, it was discovered that a 2017 Chevy Camaro was travelling south bound on Ross Clark Circle.  The pedestrian was on the west side of Ross Clark Circle and began crossing the highway.  The pedestrian crossed into the path of the Camaro and was struck.  The pedestrian was transported to Flowers Hospital in critical condition.  The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.  On July 3rd, the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.  The pedestrian has been identified as 50 year old Jerry Allen Strickland of Panama City Beach, Florida.

The crash is still being investigated by the Dothan Police Department Traffic Division.
