On 04/24/2017 Investigators began working a case involving a boat being stolen from the 100 block of Copper Court. Investigators were able to obtain surveillance footage from the neighborhood and local businesses. The investigation revealed that the boat was not stolen, rather it was a plot to deprive the lien holder of the property.
Investigators arrested and charged 32 year old Robert Hershell Griffin, of Copper Court, with Conspiracy to Commit Insurance Fraud 1st degree. Bond has been set at $15,000.
Investigators have arrested and charged 38 year old Ashley Ryan Holder, of Flynn Road, with Conspiracy to Commit Insurance Fraud 1st degree. Bond has been set at $15,000.
All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
